Hey fellow Facebookers and Twitters, there is now a way to track your Facebook updates on TweetDeck! No more toggling back and forth. You can now receive Facebook updates to Tweetdeck. Your Facebook friends show up in a new column which is updated once a minute.

You can even initiate a Facebook chat via Tweetdeck. How cool is that?
Now when you post on Twitter, you can select where you want it to go. Not to mention shortening the URls, Twitpic and more.

And it's easier to add your Tweeple to a group. I'm loving this!

This upgrade is in Beta testing right now, so you have to use at your own risk. I uploaded it and absolutely LOVE IT.
Enjoy!

You got a nice jump start on this stuff. I'll look into it. Thanks for the post.
Gotta install that tweetdeck!
I put tweets up on my facebook yesterday but have yet to explore tweetdeck. I will have to have a look see.
Nice! I wonder if Tweetvisor will come with that upgrade as well... That would be awesome.

I love my Tweetdeck. I just wish I had something similiar for my Treo. It's easy to Tweet just difficult to find responses.
Now that Tweetvisor is down, I'll have to go back to Tweetdeck so this sounds nice. I just got a new phone, the TouchPro from Sprint so I need to find some way to tweet from my phone easily. (And being able to follow conversations would be nice, too.)

Hi Connie!

Okay...what is Tweetdeck, Tweetvisor, etc? Is it part of Twitter or another site? Anyone?
Hi Paula -
Tweetdeck is an application that you can use to streamline your tweet activity. It is something of a desktop program that you run instead of going to the Twitter website. Sort of like an instant messenger program on steriods. You can set up columns for all your friends' tweets, messages specifically sent to you, DMs sent to and from you, and anything else (like from a specific group of people, etc.). It automatically refreshes so you don't have to keep refreshing the screen like you do on the Twitter website.
Tweetvisor is different in that it is a web-based program. However, this site also refreshes automatically so that you don't have to manually refresh the screen. It also sets up specific areas for replies and DMs. The primary difference is that you are on a website.
Hope that helps!

Renae - great explaination. I'd never heard of Tweetvisor so I checked it out. But I still love my Tweetdeck because it's so much easier to track conversations. I just wish they'd come up with something for my Treo to easily track conversations.
Hey Connie,
I have yet to jump on the Twitter bandwagon, but becuae of this post I think I will just take the leap and see where it takes me. Here's to another wreckless social network tool too fuel my addiction! ^.^

That new feature looks pretty cool. I'm definitely going to have to check it out!

I like the idea of grouping from TweetDeck. My one wish list is that the tweets would come in under their group ONLY. As of now (unless something has changed very recently) they also come in the general tab...so it's duplication. While I'm wishing...it would be nice to have a column for new followers so I can designate them into a group from the beginning. Can I have it all?? Ha!
Thanks for the info. I think I am going to wait because I have a clearly different audience on Twitter compared to my audience on Facebook. I don't think my facebook friends are ready for the overload of information that Twitter sometimes seems to stream.
I love both Twitter and Facebook. I it amazing how many people are using it and how few agents in my market that are using either. Currently I can only find 2 other agents in my market that are on Twitter.
