Hello Active Rainers!
My wish to my cousin, Heather, on her 1st kidney transplant anniversary (12/7) is to have 500 people sign her card. This is very important to me because I gave her my kidney and I really want to WOW her on her big day.
I would appreciate anything you can do to help me reach my goal by forwarding this to your address books and online communities. Please REBLOG and FEATURE it! We've only got 7 days!
Thank you!
UPDATE: As of 11/30 at 1pm, we have 106 signatures! YEA! Only 394 more to go.
UPDATE: Thank you to all Active Rainer's for helping me get 158 well wishers for Heather's card. I couldn't have done it without you! Thank You Thank You Thank You! Here is a link to the card that you helped create.

I'm in. I signed the card. My mom is a 20 year recipient of a kidney. You girls have had quiet a year, I bet.
Hello Heather: Love your cute pic - left a message for your cousin. That was a great thing you did for your cousin.
Chris & Kathy, thanks for such a quick response! I really appreciate it.
Chris, how is your mom doing after 20 years? Did she just have one transplant?
I am going the link now!
Melody - You ROCK! Thanks!
She's done fairly well with the transplant. Many healthy years. She's getting over a few years of cancer treatments (she's winning) and started dialysis again to help "Adam" keep up.
Chris, I'm glad to hear she's doing good and winning. Adam, eh? My cousin calls hers "Connie, Jr". LOL
I am going to sign your card and I hope both are doing well.
What a great card! I've signed good luck with your BIG project!
John & Kathy - thank you ! And John, she received my left kidney.
I have gladly and proudly signed the card. What a magnificent heart you have. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of it.
I'm glad to help anyone who has the courage to do such an unselfish act for another. I think we can rally a few signers from Twitter, too.
Connie.. Mission complete ( on my end ) I have signed the card and re-bloged for you.
Mirela, John and Roland, you guys are awesome! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I appreciate all your help.
Connie...I just came over here from Mirela's post. I've signed the card and will be forwarding it to my associates as well. You did a huge thing...and your cousin is going to receive a HUGE card.
Kelly, thank you. That's what I am hoping for. She's lived with PKD for 25+ years wondering when her kidney would fail and if she would get another. I honestly don't think I could live like that. For that reason, she is my hero. I'm hoping her receiving so many well wishers will show her what a hero she is to me.
I remember that post. :-) and I've signed the card.
Dear Connie,
What a special cousin you are to be so giving and thoughtful to create this card. I signed and I look forward to signing next years card too! Way to go!
