I am a TWITTER ADDICT! But I HATE the Twitter DM (direct message) mail. In other words, direct contact from other Twitterers.
Many Twitters use programs such as TweetLater to send an automated message to someone you've just started following. The problem is so much of this is SPAM.
If you want to know how to rid yourself of all this SPAM, this is how. Ready?
1) Follow: Optmeout
2) Once Optmeout follows YOU, send a DM (direct message) to Optmeout. It doesn't matter what it says.
3) Unfollow Optmeout
Congrations! You should have SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED your SPAM!
