Place and time have been decided, but not start location.

We are going to end up on the Bob Kerrey Memorial Pedestrian Bridge. To get there, we plan on marching with signs from two predesignated gathering points. People can join in along the way, or else meet us at the bridge if you do not want to walk the distance.

When we are at the bridge, it looks as if we are going to lower huge 'tea bags' from the bridge expressing our anger against the rampant spending by the federal government and their voting block buddies Ben Nelson and Tom Harkin.

One start location will be in Omaha. The other will be in Council Bluffs, so our Iowa friends can join us on the bridge from their side.

Other plans will be added to this list as we develop them, but I've had a lot of questions as to our plans.

Fish Fry

 

The season of Lent is here again and it's officially FISH FRY SEASON.  Did you know that there are at least TWENTY local fish fry events this year? 

Historically, the largest Fish Fry each year is the one held at Holy Name Catholic Church located at 2901 Fontenelle Boulevard.  It starts at 6pm but you better get there shortly after it starts because the lines are long and at 9:00 pm, no one else is allowed into the waitng line.
